Our Platform:

Marriage is the foundation of family and family is the foundation of society. As a result, there is no cause more worthy than the restoration of marriages.

On average in the United States, three divorces occur in the time it takes a couple to recite their wedding vows. It’s estimated that our nation’s 1.4 million divorces in 2002 cost taxpayers more than 30 billion dollars. An additional 150 billion per year goes to subsidizing and sustaining those fragmented families. Yet, for every $1,000 spent to deal with the effects of family disintegration, only $1 is spent to prevent that disintegration. Inspiring healthy marriages has never been more important than it is today.

Building from the foundation of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) - currently the most consistently effective and scientifically grounded therapeutic modality in existence for healing relationships - Scott and Betsy aim to educate and inspire their listeners. They unveil what we’ve learned from the last 50 years of research on attachment and bonding. They show why vulnerable connection with others is the only way to know we are seen, loved, and not alone. They decode the previously mysterious mechanics that drive so many loving couples to hopelessness and divorce. They illustrate what life could be like if entire communities move toward vulnerable connection.

Nothing gives Scott and Betsy more joy than to see individuals and communities move from fear of rejection to security of connection. Their passion is to see this transition happen in as many people as possible. That is what drives Scott and Betsy to spread the message everywhere they can.
